The director duo of Siddique and Lal
virtually ruled Mollywood for several years churning out hits one after the
other, ever since they made their debut together, with the cult comedy titled
Ramji Rao Speaking.
After hits like In Harihar Nagar,
Godfather, Vietnam Colony and Kabooliwala, they decided to separate.
Later Siddique directed several hit
movies, like Hitler, Friends and Chronic Bachelor. But his last two outings in
Malayalam, Bodyguard and Ladies & Gentleman were major disappointments.
Lal became a hotshot producer and
then, a major actor. He returned to direction with films like 2 Harihar Nagar
and In Ghost house Inn. But his films like Tournament and Cobra were dismal
flops.
Maybe to cash in on the interest that
will create by the announcement of their comeback together, there are reports
of such a possibility. Both Siddique and Lal have been denying such a rumour,
but the news is again hogging the social network gossip columns.Is there any
